Abrorbek
IELTS Lead Mentor • Our Abror
Throughout my years preparing candidates for the IELTS Academic and General Training examinations, I repeatedly observed a heartbreaking pattern: students who spoke and wrote brilliant English in casual settings frequently lost 0.5 to 1.5 bands on test day purely because of unfamiliarity with the strict computer-delivered format.
In a real IDP or British Council test room, the audio plays once. If your mind wanders for five seconds, the answer is lost. The Reading passages require fast horizontal and vertical scanning across a split screen. And in Writing, there is no spellcheck or grammar correction—every keystroke counts against an authoritative server timer.
I built Our Abror (Abrorbek's IELTS) to bridge this gap. Our mission is simple: when you enter the official test centre, nothing should surprise you. You will have already executed this exact exam workflow dozens of times.
The Our Abror Methodology: 3 Pillars of Preparation
1. Strict Server Timing
No pause button, no restarting, and server-authoritative deadlines. You train your cognitive pacing so that running out of time never becomes your downfall.
2. Official Rubric Fidelity
Real IELTS computer-delivered styling: draggable reading splits, yellow/green highlighters, question navigation bars, and instant raw-to-band conversions.
3. Human Writing Review
AI tools cannot reliably score IELTS Writing Task 2 coherence or task achievement. Abrorbek reviews your submissions manually against the 4 official criteria.
How Official IELTS Bands are Calculated
IELTS overall scores are the arithmetic mean of all four skills, rounded to the nearest half band per official IDP and British Council rounding rules:
| Raw Average | IELTS Rounding Rule | Final Band Score |
|---|---|---|
| 6.125 | Ends in less than .25 → rounded down to nearest whole band | 6.0 |
| 6.250 | Ends in .25 exactly → rounded UP to half band | 6.5 |
| 6.625 | Ends between .25 and .75 → rounded to half band | 6.5 |
| 6.750 | Ends in .75 exactly → rounded UP to next whole band | 7.0 |
